Responsible For
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and processes to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, promoting best practices in testing and automation
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases using tools such as Selenium, or equivalent
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and product management, to define requirements and specifications that meet customer needs
  • Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand usability issues, and ensure their needs met through quality assurance efforts
  • Monitor and report on testing progress, defect status, and quality metrics to stakeholders
  • Conduct root cause analysis for defects and recommend process improvements
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Test Lead with a strong focus on automation
  • Over 8 years of experience in software quality assurance, demonstrating effective leadership and mentoring of teams
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to drive quality improvements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Proficiency in both manual and automated testing, with experience in automation tools and languages such as Java, Python, Selenium, Jenkins, Gitlab
  • Exposure/experience on AWS or any related cloud technologies
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Effective leadership and team management abilities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with proven customer-facing experience
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
